3rd time's a charm. Finally got this uploaded after constant interruptions yesterday/today. Anyways, also writing a review for the beer I just added because I'm not a sociopath. Cool label. Pours a light amber color, 2/3" white head. I think the looks are the best part. And I'm not even a Big Trouble in Little China fan.
The aroma left a lot to be desired. Was mostly bittering hops and a malty regimen. Those ibu war days. Can lacked a date stamp. At no point did I get anything really specific in terms of a hop, so I'm guessing they dropped like 6 different kinds in here.
The taste impact was much the same. A bitterness heavier than the 55 ibu claimed, but with 9.2% abv, you can see how that boozy heat tag teams with the bitterness to amplify both. It doesn't offer much in the way of taste, you're left with the older caramel drizzle of a malt bill made to match the 9+% abv, and a smattering of probably Simcoe/C hop bitterness. The juicy hops commercial tug job didn't meet expectations. I was not a fan of anything here except for the artwork/appearance. They make funny named beers and art, but not sold on the substance yet.
