L: Black body, one finger frothy head.
S: Light and sweet. Dark fruit, hints of cola, vanilla and stone fruit.
T: Roasty malt and cola, hints of coca, syrupy hops, faintly resinous, bitterness that builds quite a bit through the finish.
F: Moderate carbonation, finishes on the dry side.
O: Well balanced, nice malty flavors but certainly still an IPA. I wish this style was everywhere.

I want more black IPAs in my life. This is close, although it reminds me of a hoppy stout done right.
Rich and roasty with a dark roast grapefruit pith character and a long drying finish. Scratched that itch.
