Fairly clear light copper color with a small white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with juicy fruit notes (not really a German Oktoberfest aroma). Caramel malt and light lemon in the flavor with a touch of vanilla. Good earthy hop bitterness to balance the sweetness. Finishes with a lasting dry bitterness on the tongue (nice) and some of the juicy fruit from the aroma and maltiness. Actually a nice beer overall, but I'm not getting the festbier style. More like a hoppy pale ale.
