This bold West Coast IPA is a hop lover's dream, showcasing a vibrant trio of El Dorado, Mosaic, and Ekuanot hops. Bursting with juicy tropical fruit, ripe mango, and bright citrus, it's balanced by layers of pine, resin, and subtle herbal undertones. The crisp malt backbone keeps the profile clean and dry, allowing the hops to shine with a refreshingly bitter finish that lingers just long enough to invite another sip. A modern take on a classic style — bright, aromatic, and unapologetically West Coast.

16oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found. Full name is "They Lost Their Innocence Then Their Souls The Young Lovers".
Mostly clear, with a little haze. Deep gold colored body. Two fingers of very fluffy white head, and this very slowly retreats to a pillowy cap and high ring. Laves behind scattered stand off puffs of lacing.
Aroma of mango, orange, a little dank pine and a little onion.
Taste is close to fruit candy sweet, but with an herbal and bitter pine accompaniment. Flavors of mango, orange, lemon, resin, and a little onion. Aftertaste loses the sweetness and sticks with the herbal bud. Bitterness is moderately high.
More than medium mouthfeel. Soft and full texture. Coats the mouth but ends with a clean finish. Very good carbonation (the thin head follows the body down to the bottom of the glass).
Lacks body clarity for a classic West Coast IPA, but has a good level of bitterness, a good base of toasted malts, and plenty of fruit and resin flavors.
