Tried on draught at World of Beer in Destin, FL.
L - Ok, first of all, it is not hazy! Light to medium gold color and crisply clear. Thin white head of almost microscopic bubbles; light lacing.
S - Nice, but not overly aromatic. Hops give light tropical fruit and mown hay. No malt to speak of.
T - Flavors of tropical fruit and grassy hops. Light, sweet, bread-like malt.
F - Medium to heavy body, low carbonation. Finishes sweet, not dry, with a bit of a mouth-coating effect. Moderate hops bitterness. Some alcohol presence, but not big for such a high ABV.
O - This is a pleasant beer with flavors and aromas in the right ballpark for the hazy IPA style, but it is strange that it doesn’t look the part.
