On draught at the brewery.
Very bark brown pour. High head retention and decent lacing.
Sweet, malty, hints of citrus, orange, vanilla, a baby aspirin and an earthy flavor lurking in the background. Cocoa & bourbon flavors and bitterness are faint. Somewhat complex, different.

On draft at the brewpub, 12 oz. pour. Has a black color with a small head. Smell is of roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts, some bourbon, hints of chocolate. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
