from the bottle. amber color. sweet smell of malts. taste is also sweet, but not like from caramelized malts. just sweet, no hops in taste at all. low carbonation. lingering sweetness in finish. Pretty straitforward good landbier. Lacks complexity, hops in my mind.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear golden amber color with a nice thich white head that slowly reduces. Bready scent in the nose. The taste is light bready malt. Non-descript.

Pours clear light copper/golden beer with 2-finger off-white head, decent retention.
Smell - bready, hay.
Taste follows the smell. Clean and neutral. Modest hop finish.
Medium body and carbonation, somewhat chewy.

Zirndorfer Landbier
Pours an amber to golden color with a smaller, yet stable white head.
Has aromas of mashed potatoes, tomato bush and fainter, earthy hops.
The mouthfeel on this is well balanced, light bodied and refreshing, due to the beer’s sparkling carbonation.
Tastes of bread dough, hay enriched toffee, as well as slightly dry, slightly floral hops. Has a rustic toffee quality which becomes the most apparent during the beer’s middle part, together with a refreshing stony effervescence. Finishes pretty light, aqueous with earthy, grainy malts, a note of toffee and a faint hint of bitter turning, leafy hops.
This drinks almost a bit too easy with just not enough body and flavors to convince.
