The first view of the brewery is of a well maintained and modern facility - some freshly painted walls and sign, as well as some new or well maintained equipment. The brewer also runs the guesthouse, which is on the premises, but it may be a bit difficult to find - look for a house just a bit off the road with a high sign. The inside is a 1960s/70s brewpub with yellow textured glass and assorted light wood tables and chairs. One tap, but all of his beers currently available can be had. The one drawback: only open on Sundays. While we were there, locals and some other tourists (German) were there. The owner was a bit quirky (I loved seeing his expression when one of the German tourists asked for an alcohol free beer), but I believe his beer is well done overall. A great Franken Brewery! Recommended.
