Clear, dark copper appearance; excellent carbonation; thick, semi-creamy head; patchy network of foam spots the glass. Toasted grain and almond notes in the smell; toffee. Rich, sweet flavor; toffee and caramel; medium-light hop bitterness underscores the sweetness. Medium-heavy body; soft; moderate residual sugar feel; low-key malt warmth.
This is a tasty, malt-forward beer, pretty spot-on for a Vienna lager.
