Deep orange in color. Teeny white head that grips the glass. Nose is very citrus. Taste is just a little less citrusy. Not too much bitterness unfortunately.

As the most coveted hop on the planet, Citra has become a household name in beer circles. In comparison to all other hops, Magnanimous believes they are all dead to them.
Death To All But Citra comes with a slight burnt orange color, wrapped in a hazy cocoon of light silt and pastel. As its frothy cap reveals a full breath of orange laced citrus, additional citrus flavors align with tropical, herbal and pleasantly grassy perfumes to suggest citronella. Yet in taste, the beer's upstart is creamy and sweet with cereal, honey, light caramel and shortcake.
With the malts and their associated sweetness slowly relaxing on the middle palate, the rise of hops begin. Branch-ripe oranges lay tribute to fruity hop impressions of valencia, mandarin, blood orange and light suggestions of red grapefruit and lemon. Reeling in additional flavors of mango, apricot and peach, the taste soon steer into a moderately bitter finish of sun tea, spruce, hemp and verbena.
Medium bodied and insisting on borrowing bitterness from the hops, the beer is an even keel balance, malty-dry and bittersweet to nearly pin-point perfection. The Citra hops is one of but a few varieties that can stand on their own as a single-hop IPA, but Magnanimous Brewing celebrates its bold display perfectly.

Undated can. Canned approximately 11/25/22 per Instagram.
L: Pours a hazy deep gold with a fluffy white head that quickly thins on top but sticks around the glass. Thin, irregular lacing.
S: Aromas of orange, mango and lemon.
T: Tropical fruit smoothie up front, followed by pink grapefruit. Finishes dry but with only minimal bitterness.
M: Smooth and creamy mouthfeel, but not thick.
O: The tropical to pink grapefruit transition provides a uniquely flavorful experience. Highly enjoyable.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing; really fantastic. Head is snow white, slowly receding, leaving thick clumps of lacing behind. Body is opaque and more pulpy than hazy.
Absolutely banging Citra nose! Weedy and dank, grassy and peppery, but also bright and citrusy. Notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon, mint, mango, basil.
Creamy and smooth on the palate, with a nice lively bite. Moderate to high bitterness.
As is typical with Citra hops, what presents as a very citrus-forward aroma turns into more of a tropical fruit expression on the palate. Mango, papaya, cream; moderate dankness.
This is a surprisingly excellent IPA!

Poured a light straw-gold yellow body with minimal head and no lace down the glass. The aroma is citrusy and juicy with a hint of lemon and strong citric notes. Smooth, light to medium body, has some juiciness and a fruity sweetness, with a lemon juice acidic sharpness and has good balance with easy finish.
