*2019 version that was aged for one year prior to release. Poured a black body with minimal head and khaki lace. Aroma is boozy and woody with notes of dark fruits like plum and something like maple syrup (there is no maple in this beer to my knowledge). Boozy, strong beer, slow sipper with some heat throughout and also somewhat sticky in a thick/full body so coats the tongue; there is some chocolate sweetness in this beer and it is an OK sipper.
