Cloudy, nearly opaque body, milky dark yellow in color. Very good head production; decent retention and lacing.
Nose isn't overpowering, but it does reveal quite a few of the added ingredients, in particular banana, coconut, and macadamia nut. Very little sourness or tartness from the aroma. Smells fruity and sweet, like a tropical rum drink - which I suppose is the goal.
Tons and tons of fruit on the palate, like a lightly tart banana puree. Banana, lime, coconut; I honestly don't get a ton more, although there is a nice tartness. Very salty on the back third.
This is not exactly what you might expect from a gose, but for a fruited kettle sour, it's exactly what you want. It's boozy fruit juice: tart, sweet, and juicy.
