Staying the course on their hoppy journey, all roads lead to Magnanimous Brewing and this hazy IPA is the reward at the end of this lupulin rainbow.
Packed with Vic Secret, Galaxy and Eclipse hops, Hazy Road pours a rich goldenrod hue while crowning with an ivory froth. As the bold scents of citrus, tropical fruit and fresh spruce roll from the foam, the early sips reveal a cereal sweetness of honey, shortcake and and a light doughy impression.
But then the hops explode on the middle palate with this curious and bold taste leading with branch-ripe oranges, tangerines and mandarin varieties before rolling into a tropical taste of pineapple, passionfruit and a nearly tangy wine-like taste. With hints of nectarine, apricot and grapefruit mingling about the palate, the flavors shift to a smooth bitterness of pine, hemp, verbena and peppery grasses.
Medium bodied, grainy-sweet and finishing slightly on the bitter side of bitter-sweet and a extension of fruit peels, fresh torn pine needles and botanical gin-like properties.
