Poured from tap as clear as can be. Head is bright white. Nose is typical for a Pilsner . Taste is nice, smooth malty. Very well done beer. Glad they are distributing here.

Leaning on the experience and brewing prowess of Compañía Cervecera Hércules, Magnanimous churns out a characteristically German taste with a traditional pilsner and a few nontraditional hops.
Hallertau Blanc and Saphir hops fuel The Lager Affinity as it catches the eye with a bright chrome appearance. Streaming with zesty bubble, the beer builds a brilliantly white swath of foam while teasing the nose with brisk citrus, cracker and light dough. Floral aromas precede a brisk sweetness of communion wafer, bready sweetness and a dash of powdered sugar before quickly evaporating from the tongue.
As the sweetness drifts, the backbone of malt is dry, crisp and with a lightly kilned support for the hops. Lemony with a hint of apple, the flavors are fresh, floral and snappy with a quick late palate developing. A closure of peppery herbs reveal lemongrass, grassy parsley and a hint of eucalyptus.
Light, crisp and highly refreshing, this dry and drinkable lager doesn't relinquish flavor for the sacrifice refreshment, The Lager Affinity finishes moderately bitter and with a medium length aftertaste of peppery, grassy and herbal hops in a unique but comforting piilsneresque taste.
