Poured a slightly cloudy, yellow body with decent head and lace down glass. Aroma and taste are similar in this medium-bodied beer with hops that are a little earthy and funky, dry but not bitter (think grassy but not piney), with touches of grapefruit sweetness tucked in there and beer has an easy finish.

On tap at Donnelly’s Public House in Fairport, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, gooseberry, white grape, marijuana, pine, and pear.
I like the fancy new wave hops being used on a more older school West Coast IPA here. It’s got a clean and deep bitterness, but up front is a zesty, rindy, but juicy hop backbone. There’s grape, melon, grapefruit, and pear, mostly.
This is lighter bodied, very crisp, with a pleasantly lingering bitterness on the back end.

Picked up a 16 oz single on 1-27-24 for $5.99 i think. No canning date; consumed 1-30-24.
Beer poured a chilled gold with a nice white head.
Nose is very nice, full of tropical fruits and citrus.
Taste is a light pale malt base in which the Southern Hemisphere hops invoke notes of apple and gooseberry. Also getting mango and orange. Finish is a gooseberry and rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and pretty refreshing.
Overall a nice juxtaposition of old school WCIPA with new school hops, works nicely!
