Poured a dark brown body, almost black cola with decent khaki head. Mild, chocolate aroma, some minor hoppiness. Smooth, slightly creamy, has decent roasted chocolate finish in a medium body, almost like a porter, with touch of herbal dryness and easy to drink.

Appearance: Dark brown with ruby highlights. Frothy, khaki color head with moderate retention.
Aroma: Banana like yeast notes with chocolate/dark bread like malt.
Flavor: Follows aroma: banana and chocolate/dark bread flavor. Grains on the back end. Spicy hops. Restrained bitterness.
Mouth feel: Medium bodied. Light to moderate carbonation. Relatively dry.
Overall: Solid Dunkelweizen. Head retention was a little short vs German made counterparts. Good balance between yeast and gain aroma and flavor. Quality beer. Good to see an American brewery making the tasty beer style.
