Pours a dark brown, almost black color. Thick frothy mocha colored head forms on the beer initially before dissipating completely.
Aroma is everything you want in an Irish dry stout - roasted malts, cocoa, some earthy nutty malts and a touch of cream.
Taste follows the nose with notes of nutty malts, some light roast, and a touch of cocoa. Moderate earthy hops are present on the back end.
Feel is light, easy drinking, smooth and creamy. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish.
Overall a lovely Irish dry stout.

For Look rating I assume a draft for you in the brewery; the nitro head won't last if you take a growler home.
A fine Irish Stout! Slight tones of something smoky on top of the usual roasted-to-dark malt flavor which predominates of course. Not a complicated taste at all. I haven't done a simultaneous taste test but it clearly compares well to Guinness and Murphy's.
