A little over carbonated but the flavor is just right. Drank this a week after my trip to London and it is better than many of the ones on cask

Thanks to Robert for this one. Canned 2023/12/13
Pours a foamy bubbly 1 finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, very clear iced tea tan color
Nose brings some sweet malt, caramel toffee notes, toasted grainy malt, fair generic fruity esters, medium floral herbal hops
Taste brings more malts up front, grainy sweet cereal and toasted caramel malts, hint of toffee but not too sweet, then hops with more herbal up front, getting a bit earthy and even vegetal hop , very U.K. style hop profile, lots of fruity esters again but also more like generic fruity notes hard to pinpoint a specific fruit, med to a bit lighter bitterness up front, then turning to a med to higher bitterness late, finishing with a higher mild spicy hop bitterness
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med mild prickly carb (a bit too much for the style actually)
Overall pretty nice, a good English Best Bitter with plenty of UK hops, good malt base that even leads the beer, nice fruity esters, good mouth although a bit too much carb, very nice in general

The words I would use to describe this beer are balanced and subtle. It finds a very rewarding sweet spot between malty caramel notes and just the slightest hops funkiness both in taste and aroma. The taste also features a welcome presence of understated black tea notes in the background. Beers shouldn't have to beat you over the head to be enjoyable. This beer is extremely well made and a great example of the style. I look forward to trying more products from Art History.

I had this on draft 9/19/23 @ the Hopleaf.
See through amber appearance.
Nice off-white head; frothy lacing remained.
Oats, well-preserved library book, oak & faint melon notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium mouthfeel.
Oats, mild cream & oak flavors up front; well-preserved library book notes on the finish.
British as fuck in it's vibe, and quite enjoyable.
NOTE: I had this on cask a few days later, and while still good I liked it a little less; the interesting edges were gone & it was creamier.
