Canned 10/30/24; drank 11/11/24 @ the Yarchives.
Murky brown/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; nice lacing remained.
Banana, mild caramel & faint cream notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Banana & faint caramel flavors up front; mild cream notes on the finish. A hint of red berry emerged as this warmed.
I'm not a huge fan of wheat beers, but this is finely wrought. Very good.

Very refreshing for such a high-ABV, complex brew. Give the can a good roll before you pour/drink: some sediment at the bottom.

Crowler from Art History filled the day before. Murky in appearance, modest head and carbonation, with no residual lacing. Excellent aroma and flavor, though. Bursting with banana and spice esters, with pumpernickel toast and a bit of chocolate.

Draft served in a half liter mug at Map Room. Dark mahoghany brown, not quite fully opaque, some reddish highlights around the edges. Creamy foam, ecru in color, not fully tan. Random spotty lace and good coverage in the glass.
Aromas of toasted bread crusts, mild clove and banana, dark malts balance the yeast.
Taste is pleasant and malt forward, dark bread crusts, traces of unsweetened chocolate and mild coffee. Faint chocolate covered banana, but not especially sweet. Medium bodied, smooth and satisfying. Easy to put back the half liter, and I would have had another if not for time constraints. Nice intro to Art History, i'll be on the lookout for more of their beers.

Had on tap. Wow this one is amazing, best dunkelweizen outside of germany that I have had in a long time! Murky chestnut brown with a cream head and thick lacing. Aromas of banana, clove, light bubble gum, wheat, pumpernickel bread, with malts that have some roast, some toasted toffee, and cocoa dusting. Taste follow suit, banana bread is tasted on the palate before the wheat, clove, bubblegum and malt flavors come in, wow. Simple yet flavorful. Feel is chewy, wheat based, yet has some roast too, frothy finishing impression, lighter. The wife loved it
