Had on tap. Murky orangey brown body with a tan head and bands of lazy lacing. Vinous notes pours through the smoky caramel malts, toast and yeast, weird. Taste is so vinous to the point of slight must that just clings to the burnt toast and earthy malts, caramel, dark fruit, and yeast a faint afterthoughts. Feel is unbalanced with the barrel, with booze obliterating the lager it aged, the large oak helps the yeast a bit. Dear beer world, please stop barrel aging marzens, I buy them not realizing it and do not enjoy, and wine barrels with german lager should be verboten
