I had this on cask 7/24/23 @ the Beer Temple.
Semi-opaque brown/orange appearance.
Small off-white head; nice lacing remained.
Sarsaparilla, oak & a hint of chocolate notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Sarsaparilla, oak & a hint of chocolate flavors.
A nice dark mild!

Had on cask. Layers of brown shades verging on black make up the body, dark tan head. Nose is slightly oxidized malt, wet earth, slightly bitter chocolate and a whisper of vanilla. Tastes of light roast, big cocoa, hint of tiramisu but not sweet, dark yeast and a kiss of earth. Feel is the best part, velvet smooth with great froth, warm and light bodied.
