Canned March 2023 (the exact date is smudged); drank 4/3/23 @ the Yarchives.

See-through red/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; strong, frothy lace.

Rye bread, honey & dry wheat notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Rye bread & honey flavors up front; dry wheat notes on the finish.

A bread bomb; I enjoyed this. I'd LOVE to try it on cask...

Had on tap. Dark amber body with a khaki frothy head, tons of spotted lacing. Taste starts with typical irish red ale malt flavors, but then bitter yeast and earthy hops elevate before a huge semi-sweet crystal malt and dark fruit finishes. Smell is just that finish. Feel is crisp and clean malty smoothness. An excellent irish red!
