Poured from pint can, the body is a dark brown with modest white head. Scant lacing.
Aroma is a light toffee and a very light booze. Just enough to curb the sweetness of the toffee.
Taste follows nose as the malt carries the load. A bit of nuttiness is tasted just as a wee bitterness appears and the bitterness slowly lingers upon finish. The mix is easy to drink and light on the palate.
Mouthfeel is medium with light carbonation.
An easy drinking, dry enjoyable old ale. My can from 2025 canning has 7.8% ABV on the label.

16oz can "Canned on 10/29/25" and poured into a pint glass shows a clear, maple brown colored body and briefly supports a 1/2" cap of khaki colored foam leaving the glass clean behind. Agitation creates a waterfall of tiny bubbles that race back to an edge hugging ring.
Roasted malt aroma borders on coffee, but doesn't reach, dominated by stone fruit and candy sugar, or toffee.
Flavor matches with an easy drinking light feel and low carbonation, and a roasty base with a drying finish.

Clear brown body, khaki foamy head. Getting toasted almond, English yeast, slight earth, black pepper, and phenols. Taste has dried prune, dark nuts, brown rustic bread up front, with earthy hops, black pepper and drier yeast in the second two thirds, slight dry phenols end. Feel is dry and bittering with solid malt base, simpler for style but well made

Claimed flavors not highly apparent. Flavor not pronounced. Never had real olde English ale though. Not sorry I tried it, but have had better at Art History that are dark ales which I prefered.
