Layers of dark & bittersweet chocolate, coffee and dark fruit with a malt sweetness. A light creaminess and roasted dry finish. As the beer warms, you’ll taste richer chocolate and caramel flavors.

Canned 10/29/25; drank 11/26/25 @ the Yarchives.
Midnight black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice dark tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Vanilla, dark chocolate & red fruit notes in the nose.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Blackberry & dark chocolate flavors up front; vanilla & fresh earth notes on the finish. As this warmed, mild booze heat notes emerged.
A nice mix of Russian Imperial Stout vibes with some sweeter notes; a strong mix.

16oz, canned on 10/29/25
L: inky black body with a khaki colored head
S: molasses, dark cocoa, dark fruit, roasted barley
T: rich and decadent; not too sweet with notes of dark baker’s chocolate, fudge, roasted barley, raisin, prune, coffee, cola, earthy & spicy hops
F: full body, ample carbonation, alcohol is warming, finishes very bitter
O: I really like that this is not sweet at all. The bitter finish is quite potent, but I’m not one to complain about that
