Dr. Brewlittle's Beer Co. "Old Skool"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$4.25 at the brewery on 8/22/21
Look: Clear golden body beneath an inch and a half or more of densely creamy white foam that holds quite well and leaves some very nice lacing behind.
Smell: Grainy, lightly sweetish malt mixed with mildly piney and citrusy hops.
Taste: Grainy malt is balanced but not surpassed by woody, piney, and citrusy hops. A solid bitterness anchors it and doesn't let it stray from a dry, bitter finish with some residual earth and pine lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Well this is certainly Old Skool, as in they didn't add the aroma hops that the newer West Coast IPAs have. It would work in 2000 but it seems a little lacking in 2021. Otherwise it's a fairly solid WC IPA.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
