I am trying a 5oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin khaki head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had bold coffee notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with espresso presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

"Coffee Oatmeal Stout"

Tall can direct from the source...."canned on 8-23-22"

Pours the expected shade of very dark brown, under a large, lasting and frothy mocha cap. Leaves ample strands of fine bubble lacing.

The sniff is of, yes, light coffee, and milk chocolate goodness.

Malty, chocolatey, some cafe au lait presence.

Could be a bit thicker and smooth...but hey thats just a very minor flaw.

Pleasant and well worth a try.
