Arrived around noon on a Sunday, lots of folks arriving to visit, but they made room for us. Great service, friendly staff, great food! Many drafts and alcohol free beer available! Recommended!

I took bus No. 6 from Bamberg ZOB Promenade to Bischberg Mitte and walked half a block back. (The bus numbering system has since changed, but the bus still exists.)
On my visit there was one beer on tap: the Urtyp Hell, and 6 in bottles: Zunft Trunk Dunkel, Sonnen Pils, Sonnen Weisse, Diätbier, Prostel alkoholfrei, and Radler.
Enter the pub from the street, and there is a small room to the left while ahead and right is the main room, large and square, with windows on two walls. Scrubbed white pine tables. Bar and kitchen to the left as you enter. About 7 tables with blue tablecloths.
The food is thought to be good by people I spoke with, and the little beer I ate was good, though not spectacular.
A nice, comfortable place with good beer. Not too far from Bamberg and worth a trip.
