Boréale ISA from Brasseurs Du Nord
Look: Cloudy yellow golden color with medium carbonation. About a finger of head that stay.
Smell: Citrus, orange, very light but touch your nose.
Taste: For a 3,7% very surprising. Hops, citrus, some sweet on the mouthfeel and the finish is watery. Goes down really really easily.
Feel: Amazing. Its watery but have some strong notes on hops and citrus.
So overall would I recommend it ? For sure ! It is a solid Session IPA.

Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a nice large off-white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy floral hops notes with light residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by floral citrusy notes with light bitterness and some residual sugar notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable ISA with limited bitterness and good hops flavours though maybe a little sweeter then I would like.

L: Cloudy and very pale blonde color. One finger of thick looking head that left ring after ring of retention.
S: Pineapple, pine, and citrus. New school IPA smell.
T: A lot of hops. Pineapple and pine would be the most dominant notes. A bit of sweet tropical fruit come through as well. Not that much malt but there is a very faint (very) bready note in the back of the sip.
F: Body is surprisingly not that lacking, given the ABV and my previous experiences with the style. It has moderate body with a nice creamy feel to it.
O: Pretty good beer. I was expecting this to be yet another hop-water beer but it really surpised me. I usually don't care much for 'session' trend beers but I would actually recommend this one to someone looking for a good example of the style.
