The pour to empty a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug works because the head is a reasonable one. It's white and the brew is a solid orange-amber that's more orange than amber. It's NEIPA cloudy, but it's toward the bright side. The smell is mostly of piney hops. The taste is mostly of piney hops. Although whatever starch(es) that were used in the wort don't seem to make a major impact on the taste, they provide a decent body. There's no interplay nor counterbalance of malt flavor here, just the piney hops. Its head didn't sustain and there was no glass lacing. It's not outstanding at all, but it does provide a nice hop hit.

Poured from a 16 oz.can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pineapple, peaches, melons. Taste is the same as the aroma, some passion fruit is present, mild bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top, pint glass; canned 01/07/2021.
A: Pours an opaque, golden orange color with a two plus finger, foamy/fluffy, light caramel head, half finger retention, and sheets of foamy lacing.
S: Aromas of mango, tangerine, apricot, and caramel predominate. Maybe some pineapple late.
T: More semisweet than sweet. More navel orange, caramel, and apricot flavors blend, providing a balance with the moderate, or at perhaps extremely well balanced, bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with solid carbonation. Creamy and rich.
O: I believe this is my first beer from Brasseurs Du Nord. I am really impressed with the brasseries québécoises to create such deliciously complex beers. I guess it helps to have some of the best water in the world.

transfer from Untapped. From May 7th 2021. 16oz can into a pint glass. quite old.
Hazy orange body, small white head, some decent lacing early on.
Some citrus aroma.
On tasting, hops have faded, but can see the potential here.
Mouth between medium and full, finish juicy orange.
Overall, with some age on it, comes off as alcoholic orange juice. Will re-review if I come across a fresher can.

Unfiltered and opaque, the colour of apricots, like fresh squeezed juice; forms a fluffy, airy white head with good retention.
A fresh & juicy aroma - tropical fruit medley of pineapple, passion fruit, orange, mango.
It's actually the feel that stands out first - silky smooth, buttery and unctuous on the tongue, luxurious with very fine, light carbonation (though a touch watery); fresh hop flavours of tropical fruit and pine, not juicy sweet, but pure and refined, confidently bitter; balanced by mild-moderate caramel malt; finishes super dry with a clean bitterness.
A very clean, fresh tasting, refined IPA, if not bursting with excitement.

Hazy amber brew with abundant white foam in the Affligem chalice. Aroma of tangerine. Light body with a lively eye-opening spritz. Taste like orange, like so many of these hazy, hoppy brews. Quite enjoyable and quaffable, but so fruity.
It's funny how sharp and prickly the mouthfeel is, but why not have an IPA with a carbonated punch. This is less offensive than many NE style IPAs I've tried, as in less gunkiness, but it's still the slippery and acidic fruit-bomb style. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast. Dated 2020 AU 03 in the French style.

Thick and hazy straw gold color, white foam recedes quick to not very much. A little lace.
Lightly malted golden grains and spice rack style aroma is most pronounced. Floral and piney, slight citrus and tangy fruits make up the hop aromatics.
A very laid-back, relaxed and smooth mouthfeel is appropriate for the style. Mango, pineapple, dried fall leaves, herbal and piney hop flavor's seem to roll around the palate, changing as it goes. Husked grains of the fields bring a decent balance in a classic NE style effort.
Absolutely middle of the road for the style and according to my own personal tastes.
