a friend brought me a bottle from Montreal poured a 1 finger head into glass . the smell was nice
good carbonation fizzy but smooth at 5.2% seemed like a lighter beer .

Can to lager glass.
The appearance was a nice looking glossy yellow to bronzed golden color with a mellow transparency about it. Small half finger's worth of white foamy head slid off delicately. Lots of speckled lace toured around my glass.
The aroma had some sweet clean biscuits meshing with some grassy to floral hops. Super light touch of perfume closer to the back end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side while bringing about some light notes of grassy hop spiciness. But boy is that hop spiciness ever so light! Mostly a clean smooth biscuity malt aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a very nice sessionability about it. Good carbonation with a nice smoothness, nothing cloying but quite mobile along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice pilsner but isn't necessarily distinguishable between a German and a Czech one.

Can. Golden with lasting small head. Light herbal earthy crackery aroma with a little vegetable smell. Light sweetness crackery with medium-light herbal bitterness. Lacking flavor in every way and the flavors themselves aren't very pleasant. Very light and fizzy. You're better off with Bitburger for half the price. IMHO.

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow then cleared up yellow body with two fingers of white. Crusty bread and sweet bread in the malts, with floral hops with a grassy flair, grains, and slight fruit esters all in the nose. Taste is more grainy, ends with the floral hops, little hay too. Feel is lighter for a german pilsner, but is crisp and springy. Solid

Drinking this in Quebec City. Quick take. Meets the pilsner characteristics. Light, crisp, medium carbonation, muted bitterness. Aromas hard to detect but leans grains and feint citrus. Same with taste. Pale straw color with medium head.

Bright pale straw color with moderate pearly activity. Flavors of sweet grains, lemon, salt, floral hops. Foamy white 3 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with not much legs but decent swirl effect. Slick and oily medium body with a sharp crisp. Light strength finish, flowery with veggies, grainy and highly salty (des mers = of seas). Some dry sugary hopping in there. You can really feel like it's sea water, fits well with sea food. Still quite fresh, yet the body feels a bit bland being too oily and not rounded enough. Proper flavors for the style, yet a notch more intense, makes it more tasty. Slightly wet at the end, though bearable compared to lots of others. I find this pils quite interesting, lots of personality and decently complex. Overall high quality craft.
