After several tests with these hops, our master brewer has finally concocted a beer recipe to match the ambitions of the 24h: an accessible Pale Ale, both refreshing enough after a day of sports, and with enough character to satisfy the most demanding of taste buds!
To make sure these great 'Black Hock' hops stand out, our master brewer was inspired by the hopping techniques used in our 'IPA du Nord-est' and 'Motel Coconut'. In particular, a generous cold hopping and the use of a fruity yeast allowed us to get the maximum out of the hops' aromatic potential.
Here is the portrait of this 'Pale Ale du 24h':
- Color: Blonde
- IBU: 35
- Hops: Chinook and Cascade
On smell, the hops clearly play the main role: intensely fruity notes, slightly grassy.
In mouth, the sweet bitterness supports a complex aroma of ripe citrus, pine, and fresh grass. A nice malty roundness balances everything, and leaves a slight finish of grain on the palate.
