Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry hoppy notes with some citrusy undertones is quite enjoyable. Taste is a mostly dominated by dry citrusy hops undertones with very subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed Brut IPA with great drinkability.

A:
It pours a clear brass color with a whisk of soda-like whit head that settles to islands of film. Meh retention; no lacing. (3.5)

S:
Tropical fruit. Mango, papaya, some pine hints, touch of alcohol. (4)

T:
Crisp moderate bitterness, mango, orange, pineapple, white bread, hint of alcohol. (4)

M:
Very dry, tiny and prickly active carbonation, slight alcoholic/phenolic thing In the finish. (3.75)

O:
This is a tasty brut IPA.
It doesn't look like much but the aroma is very nice. Fruity without juicy-ness, a little hop bite. It tastes similar. A nice fruity hop presence balanced out with a bone dry body/bitterness. It is dry and drinkable with a slight bready backbone Throughout. This beer has a consistent bite at the finish (in all aspects) that I called "alcoholic." I don't think that is actually what it is and I have felt it was there in all the brut IPAs I've had. It is between alcohol and phenolic. I am guessing it is from the over-attenuation. It doesn't really take away from it but a smoothed-out version would take it from "Good" to "Very good" in my book. I would/will definitely pick this one up again. (4)

A: Pours a fully translucent pale straw like color with a creamy looking pure white head with a ton of retention and lacing.

S: Smell is medium intensity with a ton of papaya, passion fruit and pineapple. That's it, no malt at all.

T: Tastes is medium to low intensity. Again, a ton of papaya, passion fruit and pineapple. Maybe some clementines. But that's it. Super dry, no malt presence at all, no residual sugars at all. No aftertaste.

M: Extremely light, completely disappears on the tongue. Carbonation is too soft and "wide" for it to be considered champagne like. But, the super low mouthfeel and the nonexistence of residual sugars keeps it on the right track.

O: This is another solid IPA from Boréale. This beer is super fresh and will be a favorite during the hot summer days. It's extremely clean on the palate, super refreshing, almost no aftertaste, no residual sugars at all, very very very light mouthfeel.
