A: Pours a slightly hazy honey color with a creamy off-white head. Retention is decent as well as lacing.
S: Medium intensity. Ripe mangoes and pineapples are the main notes in the smell as well as lime leaves and light lemongrass. Quite juicy which indicates more residual sugars but not much malt presence.
T: Medium to strong intensity. You get a ton of ripe mangoes and pineapples as well as quite a bit of lime zest and leaves. Very juicy with quite a bit of residual sugars but again never malty. Floral in a way that is similar to mangoes but goes slightly too strong on the floral notes for the flavor balance IMO. Nothing bad but that's what keeping it from getting a better score here. Still excellent.
M: Very smooth and creamy carbonation as it should be but a bit too sticky for my taste. Medium body.
O: This is a very very solid DIPA release from Boréale. Straightforward and highly recommended.
