16 oz. can.
Canned 2020, Feb 28.
Brewed and canned to benefit The Chill Foundation, founded in 1995 by Jake (RIP) and Donna Carpenter of Burton Snowboards.
Moderate pour yields a fleeting one inch white head over a slightly hazy golden body with some lacing. Nose of flowers and herbs with slight bitter hops akin to hops found in a pilsner. Nice interesting flavors of flowers, herbs, and a bit woody spice (spicy wood?) with a mild, almost sweet, bitterness. Good feel and overall, a very interesting ale with definitely unique characteristics. Cheers!

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-golden burnt yellow color with a transparency that seems just a touch shy with a slim foamy sheet of a head. Some white remnants of lace wove around my glass.
The aroma had some sweet papery woody hops, very fresh and lasting. Herbal and floral hop particles playing second fiddle. Mild semi-sweet malts further underneath. Even slighter hop oily dankiness.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet herbal and floral side. Some headstones then follows into the aftertaste with some herbal and woody freshness. Mild aftertaste of herbal woody sweetness with some clean malts.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some dryness with a touch of grassy oily slick tones but with a nice grip. Finishes semi-crisp with some dry danky sweet to herbal notes.
Overall, I'd say a pretty nicely done APA worthy of coming back to.
