Copper colored German ale with aroma of caramel and malt; medium bodied with a distinctive mineral quality; notes of toasted bread, barley sugar, caramel; slightly sweet yet dry, quenching finish.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via the brewery while hanging out with Bluejacket74
and the Laura. This solid alt pours a nice tarnished copper with an excellent head of
kahki foam that settles to a fat ring, thin layer, and displays some very nice lacing. Nose
of toasted malts, honey sweet malts, and faint herbal hops. Flavors follow with a
welcoming toasted malt, bread crust, subtle toffee, and faint herbal hops. Nice
mouth feel; medium light body, medium carbonation that is nicely effervescent,
and a well balanced finish that is lightly dry.
Overall, out of the ones I have tried I think this one is so far my favorite sticking
straight to the style. Excellent!
