This classic take on the Bavarian Hefeweizen boasts plentiful notes of clove, spice, and ripe fruit as well as plenty of effervescence to carry those aromas to your nose. With a remarkably silky and full body, this beer satisfies in a truly unique way, while the crisp and refreshing finish begs for another glass. So indulge with us in this lively weizenbier. Prost.

On tap at Edison Brewing in Columbus, into a weißbier glass.
Pours a hazy dark yellow with perfect white foam. One of the best looking pints I've seen in ages. Aroma is bready malts, a little spice, ton of clove and a little banana, but leaning dry. Flavor is similar. This is a rather dry hefeweizen with a lot more malt rather than Ester flavors, but the esters are still present. Not sweet at all, not super hoppy, but very delicious and clean. It's got that classic German hefe character, but much cleaner and more refreshing, and not sweet at all. This is much more crisp, but still very authentic and very well done. Finish is incredibly clean. Feel is good, less carbonation than usual and not nearly as sticky as my favorite hefeweizens.
Overall, a delicious American interpretation of a classic style.
