A tall poured into a tulip, the first of the mixed pack. And that is quite the pretty pour. Mahogany, dark brown with a good 2 1/2 fingers of fluffy, brown-tinged head. This come with a deep, pleasant roasty aroma. Very toasted up front, creamy with a dry finish. Bitterness really sets in on the back end. I can sense a fruity characteristic back there, too, although the pine quality is strong. There is some sweetness there as well. Reminiscent of drinking coffee.
