a passable light lager that felt a little thin and watered down to me, but has some refreshment capacity, doesnt warm up too poorly, and is nice and bubbly and easy, which is half the point of these i reckon, unremarkable overall from a quality standpoint, and somewhat uninteresting, but it serves its purpose pretty effectively as this sort of thing goes. on the precipice of not even really being craft beer at all, despite not being made by a major corporation, the design of this is certainly aimed at the non craft drinker. yellow and light, very little head retention but good carbonation in the beer for sure. aroma of white bread and light pils malt maybe, a little bit of a copper minerality, and some faintly grassy hops but i have to go looking for them, some astringency too, not a real clean lagering here it doesnt seem, but its all so light its probably fine for most of its target audience and really doesnt warrant deep dissection. the flavor is similar, some doughy character thats grounding and pleasant, and the freshness is there, balance from hops late, well resolved brew even with the slight twang to it. light biscuit, very thin texture, dry enough to keep it sipping, nothing special but the really low abv is cool, i have been really into the high volume low getting blacked out factor lately, so this plays well in that context, probably also at a ballpark or golf course, just okay overall...
