Kickin' Back Bock draft sampled at the Moriches Field brewery in August, 2022. The bartender described this as brewed as an ale. The foam is slightly off-white, and the body is a beautiful caramel color. The beer is high in alcohol, but subtle in other respects, earning the "Kickin' Back name. The malt body is very tasty. with just a hint of roasted malt. There is a good background hoppy bitterness that lasts into the aftertaste. I'd classify this as a American bock. Kickin' Back is probably in the style of mid-century American bocks and dark lagers. Pabst Bock comes to mind. This beer is better than almost all of those old American dark beer
