From the bottom of the can: "BATCH # 19021"
Appearance: It has an opaque orange body with a pure white head that is creamy textured on the surface with some pockmarks and craters along with some boulders of bubbles at various sizes. Decent head retention; it stays up for a while then slowly recedes. Sloped lacing on the glass.
Aroma: Mint, pepper, and orange come through on the nose. It appears suddenly and then it is gone. The strength fades after the first scent.
Taste: It has an interesting mixture of honeydew melon, black pepper, and mango chutney. A bit of orange comes through depending on the sip.
Mouthfeel: It is on the lower edge of medium bodied and a tad chewy with a little bit of bounce. The mouthfeel manages to be intriguing and original which is not normal but pleasant. Drinkability is a bit lower but some of that has to do with the interesting nature of the mouthfeel.
Overall: As a whole the beer is both interesting and tasty. I would probably buy it again but it's one of those beers you want to have a single of and move on, but are willing to go back to later. I would recommend it. It has enough character to at least try a pour or a can.
