I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a tulip. They bill it as an "Italian Pilsner", but it's made with all-German malt, so I added it as a German Pilsner.
Appearance: light golden hue that’s not quite totally clear, with a thin layer of white foam and a good lace on the glass. Pretty!
Smell: light malty aroma with a very slightly herbal hop character. Not bad.
Taste: malty with just a touch of toasty character and a light noble hopping and just a little bitterness that builds on the palate with each sip. I’m not 100% sure what defines an Italian Pilsner, but this is pretty tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a big carbonation that’s not exactly creamy, but is certainly refreshing.
Overall: this beer is darn good and quaffable on a sunny day, but it feels maybe just a bit unrefined. Still quite good, if not perfect.
