Reviewed after the fact. If you like smoke, this is the beer for you. The choice of wood helped keep this drinkable. A large amount of smoke on the nose, and palate, but the peach wood smoked malt (per brewer) used leant the beer a more mellow finish vs some of the other smoked malts. I really enjoyed this beer

This is a good rauchbier but the smoke completely dominates the smell and taste. There is also rustic nature to the taste which I like.
I had this beer from a crowler purchased at the brewery, and drank the same day. It poured a dark clear brown with some decent head and lacing. The feel was a bit thin but overall this was a good beer to help enjoy the evening with.
