I had this beer while comfortably sitting at the bar at the brewery after a long week. Poured from tap into a tulip glass. Murky chestnut brown color with a beautiful creamy beige head and excellent curtain lacing. Nutty smell and taste. Chestnut, hazelnut and oak. Figs and dates with an unusual licorice and burnt toast finish. Wonderful full smooth feel. Good beer but not as good as other high ABV offerings of theirs. Definitely would get again.
