Copenhagen 1/6 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Steel can with a white label in Beak's usual simplistic design in yellow, red and blue with a fellow parading around with a huge yellow bottle.

Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the beer. Substantial lacing

Aroma is intense with juicy, sweet odor of tropical fruit juice mingling with zesty citrus fruit. Mango and passion fruit. Strawberry. Grapefruit and citrus

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed a nd balanced ban a slightly lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.

Wholesome and potent.

440 ml can, as Beak Parade IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Hazy pale yellow colour, huge white head. Distinct aroma of tangerine, pineapple and various tropical fruits. Flavour also of said fruits, but not too sweet. Minimal bitterness, bland finish.

Poured into a narrow stange like glass: color is straw gold, murky thick, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head remains solid with a thin top.

Aroma is pithy, light cattiness, onion, oat, biscuit, mixed citrus.

Taste is more pith, onion, oat, biscuit, citrus, less cattiness, light wheat and biscuit; thickest beer i've had in UK.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower/moderate bitterness.

Overall a very good English rendition of an American styled NEIPA - full bodied, moderate hops, pungent flavor.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.

L: Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates rather quickly and leaves a bit of lacing. Very few floaters.

S: Citrusy and tropical with intense aromas of lemon, orange and pineapple. Somehow bubblegummy.

T: All fruits that can be smelled can also be tasted, albeit less clearly. Peach and white grapes are also there. Grassy and slightly herbal. Medium sweetness, dry finish.

F: Smooth and juicy with a medium carbonation.

O: Nice little IPA. Great in the nose, solid taste. Well executed, but nothing too fancy.

Taste is fruity and crisp with notes of gummy candy, citrus, peach and white tea. Hints of caramel and a soft, but solid bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice, well made and balanced IPA.
