Copenhagen 19/12 2022. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. What looks like Childs drawing of a yellow larvae on a blue background on the can. Kind of cute.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with more prominent citric and sharp scent. Pineapple, peach and pears. Citrus and grapefruit. Touch of turpentine.
Light carbonation- Slightly thick, oily, soft, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit aggressive. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A fine and feisty NEIPA.
