An Imperial-strength stout brewed with dried fruit, spices, Muscovado sugar and a multitude of speciality malts. Built for fire-side supping with notes of bourbon, pipes, pub hearths, confessional booths, foggy Lewesian evenings and Victorian fruit pudding.

Almost black with a tight tan head, low carbonation. Aroma is chocolate, fruit and spice. Taste is the same, all the ingredients combined do give it a barrel aged character somehow. Sweet, and syrupy texture, slight fizz even adds some creaminess to it. Very nice
Had again on 30/06, very similar to before, maybe a richer fruit character and less spice, but still very similar.
