Copenhagen 24/5 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. White can in Beak's usual simple design with a bee-keeper harvesting honey.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity and slightly sugary odor mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Ripe peach and mango. Honey. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture. Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness - on the verge of being sugary - followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite sweet and honey-ish take on a DIPA.

Nice yellow dense haze. Smells rather light, sweet citrus. Taste is the same, with a honey sweetnes and wonderful pillowy feel. Good stuff, very similar to the Brujos one, honey being difficult to name, but obviously being present in both.
