Anchovy is an experimental hop from Segal Ranch in Washington State. It was given its, frankly, sensational name by our friends at Fast Fashion in Seattle, who were the first brewery to sponsor an acreage of this one-of-a- kind variety. Expect watermelon and lemon sherbet on the nose followed by flavours of raspberry, pine and vanilla.

Deep hazy yellow colour, small tight head. Smell is lemony citrus with some resin, taste is the same. Soft sherbety feel. Nice stuff, still very much IPA to me, nothing quite as fancy as the blurb would make me expect.
