Welcome to the Rabbit Hole Project, an ongoing series of lavish, offbeat beers guest edited by some of the UK’s most forward-thinking foodies. The first in the series is a Banana Banoffee Pie Donut-inspired imperial stout produced in collaboration with the cult Manchester bakery and café Siop Shop.
Ingredients: Water, Malted barley, Oats, Wheat, Banana, Lactose, Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Vanilla, Hops, Yeast.

440 ml can, as Beak Yello Banana Stout, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11%. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma of banana, vanilla and chocolate. Sweet flavour, banana, vanilla and chocolate again, hints of coffee and roast malts, moderate bittering hops in the finish. Okay, now I've tried it - will probably not buy again.
