Copenhagen 23/2 2023. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Beak's usual yellow, blue, red and white design with farmers collecting corn ears
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Rather bubbly. Settles as thin flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an odor of sweet pale toasted malts. Caramel, toffee, singed bread. Light whiff of sweet blood orange.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a strong sweet, malty odor followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A nice sweet and toasted Amber Lager.
